A new music video by Marshall Smith of The Sound Room. Marshall and his business partner Tom Fox work with us to create music for some of our videos that are outcomes of our research.

For example, in April we’ll be unveiling a short animation based on our research into social isolation, loneliness and connectedness among older New Zealanders. The Sound Room are doing the music and sound work on it — YukFoo is providing the animation and our research partners Sarina Pearson and Shuchi Kothari from the University of Auckland’s Faculty of Arts wrote the script and are producing it. It’s our research themes woven into a brilliant wee story designed to start a conversation and plant the seeds for social change.
