Tess talks with Dr Kathryn Mannix

March 7 2019

Tess presented at a sold out evening lecture this week with Dr Kathryn Mannix, UK palliative medicine specialist and author of the bestselling book With the End in Mind. Tess discussed ‘Te Kore’ to ‘Te Ao Mārama’, providing a  fascinating insight into the complex ways in which Māori may talk about death and dying when faced with a life limiting illness. (If you want to learn more, watch this space – we will share a link to the video of her presentation when it is made available online). And if you want to hear more about Kathryn’s work, you can listen to her talking about her mission to get us all talking about death in a great interview she gave to Radio New Zealand.
