What makes you happy? New digital stories

July 4 2019

In collaboration with our community research partner Dementia Auckland, we’ve completed a pilot project exploring the use of digital stories with people with dementia. Thanks to the five people (Siniva Papali’i, Maureen Holder, Amrita Francis, Terry Way and Jeff Attwood) and their families who took part, we now have five videos to share. Recently Dementia Auckland hosted the World Premiere of the digital stories at Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts in Pakuranga. They provided a lovely afternoon tea and even rolled out a red carpet!

You’ll find the videos available from our Resources page.

Soon afterward, Dancing with the Stars NZ presenter Rachel White got wind of the group’s awesomeness and they were featured on a Newshub segment.
