Award winning paper!

July 16 2020

Good news! A Te Ārai paper led by Rosemary has been awarded the 2019 International Journal of Older People Nursing Award for Outstanding Methodological Innovation in Gerontological Nursing Research. The paper, published in December last year, explored the factors that predict confidence of palliative care delivery in long-term care staff, concluding that this was related to several factor, including mentorship by hospice nurses or colleagues, contextual factors such as organisational culture, resources and experience, and formal education.

For more information and a copy of the paper, please contact Rosemary r.frey@auckland.ac.nz

Rosemary has written a previous blog about this paper which was part of the SHARE project she also led. Many congratulations Rosemary on this achievement!
