Have our say on the radio

I got up at 4.30am on Monday to talk about our Have Our Say project on the radio. That’s how important I think this research is! I talked about why we need to gather as many lockdown letters – from as diverse a group of people aged 70+ – as possible. I also criticised the media portrayal of older people as passive victims during the pandemic – there isn’t anything passive  about the people who’ve written us letters so far!

You can listen to the radio interview here: (only 3 minutes so not a big time commitment!)

And read about how to take part in the project here.

Thank you for continuing to spread the word 🙂
