Tess is interviewed about Have Our Say

June 23 2020

Tess gave a beautiful interview this morning on Radio Waatea talking about why it’s important we hear kaumātua stories of #LockdownNZ and how Māori >60 can take part. She reflected on her own whānau experiences of Lockdown and talked about how she can support kaumātua who want to share their experience. She also shared a little about how busy some of out Te Arai kaumātua were during lockdown!

You can hear Tess’s 10 minute interview here:

We are at over 150 letters which is really exciting and we can’t wait to share some of the things people are so generously sharing with us. However, we still need more!

Just a reminder that you can share the Facebook link to encourage people to take part, direct them to our website, or download the flyer that is on there and post it up somewhere where people will see it. Thank you 🙂
