We are all very proud of Jackie Robinson who was awarded a Vice Chancellor’s prize for best doctoral thesis last night at the University of Auckland ‘Celebrating Research Excellence’ event. Jackie’s PhD explored the benefits and burdens of hospital admission for people with palliative care needs.

There were only five prizes awarded from the almost 400 PhD theses completed at Auckland University last year and Jackie is only the second student from the School of Nursing ever to receive this award. Go Jackie!
